INTRODUCTION OF VIDYA VIHAR INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY

Vidya Vihar Institute of Technology is an AICTE approved, Aryabhatta Knowledge University, Patna affiliated, Co-Ed engineering college which was established in the year 2004 to provide higher technical education to students from all corners of India and abroad.   The college campus is spread over an estate of 17 acres in a fast developing Industrial area of Purnea in western Bihar having very calm and lush green atmosphere conducive to learning and free thinking. VVIT is an institute with a difference. We have consistently maintained an excellent academic record since its inception. Curriculum of VVIT

The present curriculum includes subjects that provide students with the foundations for developing core competencies required for careers in Engineering and Technology.

In addition to regular subjects, there are foundation courses that introduce students to important concepts in humanities and social sciences, communication skills, English language skills etc. these courses have been designed to ensure overall development of students.

Programmes Offered Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech)

Vidya Vihar Institute of Technology is one of the premier institutions of Vidya Vihar Educational Trust, Ranchi. The foundation stone of this Institute was laid on 23rd November 2003 at Purnia. The institute was inaugurated on 7th October 2007 by His Excellency Mr. M Rama Jois, Governor of Jharkhand in his capacity as the Chief Guest and Shri Ramesh Kumar, Minister for Health & Family Welfare, Government of Jharkhand in his capacity as the Guest of Honour.The campus is spread over an area of more than 25 acres (100,000 m2) and is located on National Highway 31 near Zero Mile stone i.e. NH-31 & NH-57 crossing, Purnea.

The institute runs Bachelors and Masters level courses in Engineering disciplines like Electronics & Communication Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Information Technology. The institute also runs Bachelors level course in business administration viz. BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration).
