Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology (NSIT), Patna is one of the prestigious technical institute in Bihar. It has gained the most importance among all the best engineering colleges in Bihar. Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology is a co-education technical college, established in the year 2001 situated at Amhara, Bihta about two kilometers away from the railway station and two kilometers from the NH-31. NSIT is an ISO 9001:2008 Certified institute and State board approved. Apart from this it is affiliated with Aryabhatta Knowledge University Patna and recognized by Department of Science & Technology, Government of Bihar. NSIT has the huge infrastructure of approximately 4 lakh sq. ft of built up area on approximately 11 Acres of Land at Amhara, Bihta, Patna.

Within a short span of 10 years, Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology (NSIT), Patna, formerly known as Netaji Subhash Engineering College (NSEC) has established itself as an educational institute with the long list of accomplishments.

Though the institute has a library with a collection of 5000 books and 200 journals, the students have to make use of their own time to pursue the subject of their interest. There are many clubs in the campus for overall development of the student.
