Darbhanga College of Engineering is a government-owned engineering college in Bihar, India. It was inaugurated by the Chief Minister of Bihar, Nitish Kumar, in 2008. It is affiliated with Aryabhatta Knowledge University, Patna and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education.

The college formerly offered courses in mechanical engineering and electrical engineering, but now offers only courses in computer science and engineering, mechanical engineering, and electrical and electronics engineering. In 2008, it reopened as Darbhanga College of Engineering. In 2011, the college joined the AKU family and became a member of AKU’s Faculty of Technology & Engineering.

ADMISSION 

Starting in 2019, admissions will be taken by the National Testing Agency (NTA) through the JEE (Mains) merit list. Students who wish to take admissions must appear in the JEE (Mains) exam, which is conducted by NTA.
As of 2019, students seeking admission to an undergraduate program at IIT Jodhpur must pass the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET), which is conducted by NTA.

IIT-JEE (Mains) is a national-level, computerized entrance examination conducted in two stages by the National Testing Agency (NTA). The first stage of IIT-JEE (Mains) is a computerized, online screening test which will be held in January 2019. Based on their performance in this test, candidates will be invited to take the second stage of the examination which will be held in February 2019. IIT-JEE (Mains) cut-offs are published by NTA based on the difficulty level and number of candidates who took the exam. Although conducting an entrance examination for admission to undergraduate engineering colleges is its main function, IIT-JEE (Mains) also conducts joint entrance examinations for admission to postgraduate courses such as M.Sc.(Mathematics), M.Sc.(Physics), and M.Sc.(Computer Science).
